Remove the four leveling feet from the bottom of the washer/dryer and assemble to the bottom of the pedestal. Protect the units and the floor with cardboard or a soft mat so that both do not get damaged or scratched. Open the drawer as far as possible and release the drawer by actuating the black plastic levers on both slide mechanisms. The left lever should be lifted up and the right lever should be pushed down. All screws must be tightened securely, but not over-tightened as this will damage the unit. Follow these instructions to assemble the pedestal to your washer or dryer. [. . . ] When the pedestal is level, use a wrench to securely tighten all four locknuts against the bottom of the pedestal.
